The Oxford Science Park Innovation Award returns as Oxfordshire Business Awards resume

Apply now to join previous winners – Oxford Space Systems, Perspectum Diagnostics, Adaptix & Oxford Biomedica

Oxford, UK, December 3 2021 – Oxfordshire companies which are progressing valuable innovations can apply now for The Oxford Science Park Innovation Award, one of 2022’s Oxfordshire Business Awards (OXBA). The Oxford Science Park, one of the UK’s leading parks for science and technology companies, is pleased to continue sponsoring this important recognition of innovation as the Awards resume. Under its sponsorship of the Innovation Award, winners have been Oxford Space Systems, Perspectum Diagnostics, Adaptix and Oxford Biomedica, which continue to flourish in the County. Oxfordshire companies of any size and from any sector are encouraged to apply, with a deadline for applications of March 41.

In the winning entry, The Oxford Science Park’s judges are looking for the development and/or introduction within the last three years of an innovative product, process, service or business method which has had a real commercial, environmental or social impact. Entrants are encouraged to discuss how open innovation and collaboration may have been relevant to their success, and to show a plan for continued implementation and development of the product or service. Winners will be announced at the Oxfordshire Business Awards 2022 dinner on June 17. The Oxfordshire Business Awards have been impacting positively on the county’s business community and promoting excellence across all sectors for over 25 years.

Rory Maw, CEO of The Oxford Science Park, said, ‘We’re delighted that the Oxfordshire Business Awards have resumed, allowing us to recognise successful and innovative businesses which are making a real impact. The COVID-19 pandemic has catalysed innovative approaches across a range of firms and sectors. We encourage those companies to apply for our Innovation Award, as well as those with exciting developments in other areas. Sponsorship of the Innovation Award is fully aligned with The Oxford Science Park’s mission to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Oxford, a mission which is being accelerated by our ambitious development plan.’
