Our Ecosystem

The Oxford Science Park has a thriving ecosystem for occupiers and provides a wide range of support to ensure the continued growth and sucess of life science companies in Oxford. With the Park being majority owned by Magdalen College, we have unrivalled access to the University of Oxford's state of the art facilities including proteomics, flow cytometry, electron microscopy, biomedical imaging and much more. We can also offer business development support and signposting to a network of peer reviewed consultants and contractors alongside access to entrepreneurial initiatives in the wider Oxford innovation ecosystem.

We have close links with the BioEscalator, the Univesity of Oxford's biotech inncubator and are often the chosen location for new start-up companies when they are looking for their first home outside of University laboratories. The Park provides office and laboratory space in such a wide range of sizes, companies have the ability to scale-up as they grow and remain here at the Park.

Located within a selection of our Innovation buildings, The Oxford Science Park offers access to high quality shared laboratory facilities for a fixed monthly fee. These spaces provide a unique environment to connect and work alongside other companies within our community. The laboratories are fully managed by the Park’s Laboratory and Facilities team who operate a fair usage policy to ensure all businesses have equal access to these exceptional facilities. Networking & Training

We host regular social networking breakfasts which bring occupiers together to showcase their work and discuss current news within the life science sector. Alongside this, we host guest speakers from the wider Oxfordshire life science community to promote their work and provide more unique opportunities to our occupiers. We hold regular Health & Safety meetings, including lunchtime seminars on relevant topics including waste management streams, chemical and fire safety. The Management team also organise a range of courses for Park occupiers including first aid, fire marshall and autoclave training.

Beyond the Park

We use our memberships with Advanced Oxford, The Bioindustry Association, OBN and the UK Science Park Association to pass on as many benefits to occupiers as possible. These memberships also allow us as a Park to connect with other leading Science Parks both within Oxfordshire and the UK to support our focus in continuing to provide best-in-class office and laboratory space within a supportive, sustainable life science community that drives innovation and allows companies to thrive.
