Making STEM apprenticeships work for your business - 3rd November
Making STEM apprenticeships work for your business - 3rd November
Finding people with the right technical skills is getting harder. But what if you could grow some of that talent yourself? Explore how apprenticeships can help science and technology businesses tackle skills gaps, develop existing employees and bring new talent into the workforce.
This Lunch & Learn session, provided by CSR Scientific Training, offers a practical introduction to:
- How to access government-backed apprenticeship funding and the financial support available to employers
- Building technical and laboratory skills within your team
- Developing existing employees and giving them a clear route to progress
- Attracting new talent into your organisation
- Supporting higher-level scientific, digital, management and leadership roles
- What’s involved in setting up an apprenticeship and how to get started
You’ll leave with a clearer idea about how apprenticeships could work for your business, what funding is available and the practical steps involved. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and talk directly to the CSR team about your organisation’s current and future skills needs.
This is a free event with lunch included, open to both occupier and non-occupier companies.
Date: Tuesday 3rd November
